Getting to Twiga is a quick affair taking under 90 minutes from Pretoria:

- Take the N1 north to Polokwane

- Turn off at the Bela-Bela / Settlers offramp towards Bela-Bela

- After approx 10km you'll hit a T-junction in Bela-Bela, turn right towards the town

- You'll go over a bridge with Bosveld Mall on your left; take the first turn left at the next traffic light

- The road will make a 90 degree right turn and at the next available street turn left (super spar in front of you)

- Carry on straight with Aventura and the Bela-Bela hospital on your left

- Once you hit a circle, take the first left exit towards Thabazimbi

- Follow the road for approx 25km, where you will find Mabalingwe Nature Reserve on your right
